Schedule Updating
Your schedule should drive your project and should be updated
regularly. When a project is active, the schedule should be
updated weekly. If there is not much activity, the schedule
can be updated bi-weekly.
If a schedule is properly structured
and linked correctly, updating the schedule should take well
less than 30 minutes. This can be done quickly and effectively
with our scheduling templates using the Cascading View.

Adobe Acrobat Enhancements For Microsoft ProjectWe
have stated previously that Adobe Acrobat software is a must
have software for creating electronic documents from your
software programs. You can communicate any schedule or document
to others so that recipients can open, view and print the
documents as long as they have the free Acrobat Reader
installed.
This is
especially important for communicating your schedules. Adobe
Acrobat 6.0 has new and advanced features for document
creation and communicating. In addition, the on screen viewing
is clearer and the navigation is more user friendly. Using a PDF file with the
use of Email will save on communication overhead as well as
enhance and streamline communication.
Adobe Acrobat 6.0
Professional installs macro buttons on your Microsoft Project
toolbar so that you can quickly print your schedules to an
Adobe PDF Format as shown on the following example:
